So, this track has a bit of a long story behind it.
Originally, this was written over an instrumental by Call Me G. It's a Tyga type beat that samples the song 'Gas Pedal' by Sage the Gemini, also named after the song it samples. I had the beat on my iTunes for over a year and wanted to rap something over it.
Well, when I started working at my new job, I brought myself a scrapbook and used it to write lyrics in as I listened to beats during my breaks. This track became the very first song I ever wrote in that scrapbook. Once I had a moment to myself at home, I recorded the vocals over the beat and the song became 'Gas Pedal Freestyle' (which I might publically release for free at some point).
Afterwards, I thought about making an original beat for it and created the beat used here, based on the previous beat. I put the vocals over it and liked the results, so here it is.
